Hi all, I just wanted to drop you a hello from Kel'thuzad, amongst all guilds in all servers, I have to say that I have liked your DKP points the most (it seems you're also using a 0 sum model as we're) as well as your progression as a guild and the fact you're all horde! (yes I miss being a horde) I have been using your DKP point model in our guild (giving you credit as well), and so far it has been great, so I just wanted to drop a note to say thank you. I just use a 40 multipler, because divisions lead to less remainders... yeah sadly our system caters to ppl that hoard dkp. depends on your outlook. a dkp cap of somesort is one way to counter it |

in order to preventing hoarding points, we have set rules for tier 2, that you'd need 5 tier 1 items + raiding status + enough dkp to be able to get a tier 2 item, most of our people who have 8/8 tier 1 and are starting to get tier 2's are relatively close to 0, except for those who have played in every single raid and have tons of DKP. But we have seen the trend where people tend to want to go to MC instead of BWL (don't want to repair and we're relatively new to it -- @ supression room) so theoretically it is possible for them to hoard DKP and get non set items from bwl when they show up... but so far, we have not seen too many cases of it... |
