as opposed to what? music that was made to get stuck in your head and put in a tv commercial so that anytime the shitty song gets stuck in your head you're vaguely reminded of the products it endorses? (mainstream pop, pop rock, classic rock, beatles, etc. (not implying this is your taste)) what "classical" music do you prefer that makes "contemporary" music hard to understand for you?

also, how the fuck do you still not understand the difference between to/too and there/their/they're? this shit isn't difficult.

Well Tig I would love it if you could post some real music for us to listen and learn about. I went through this thread but I couldn't find any of your songs!!!!
I was hoping a music critic such as yourself would be spreading their knowledge and tastes for everyone to see.
If you do post tho I would be careful as 80% of artists out there are "contemporary" and you might just be putting your foot in your music maker.

I'm still listening to MGMT, Rural alberta advantage, The National, sigur ros, and a bunch of other shit.

Music is constantly evolving, sure sometimes I like to brush off my NES and listen to the beatles, but its old and tired after a while :D.

Gotta get on dat new shit.!

GnR(yes i posted that)
ACDC
Crew
Ozzy
ect ect...

im not saying everyone has to listen to the music i do, i just dont understand the acid trip Enya music. And no i dont just live in the past i do like current rock, i actualy have a wide range of music i can handle(zeplin to tim magraw to system of a down...) I do enjoy some of the "pop" rock, but i dont associate them with products or items they are forcing you to buy?!

Music with just a band playing too me is pointless, even metalica's new album a few songs had huge sections of just the band, i guess after a while i ask meself "what the fuck if the point of this music if there is no words too it.

just an opinion, apparently i kicked the bee hive with that one.

Basicly i have a hard on for GnR because of slash, and that is also why a lot of the music i listen too have strong guitar parts in them. I grew up with the music so its something i gravitate to(o).

Anything Slash touches is sickkkkk
